Top Surgery Celebration Mug
Thrown with speckled brown stoneware clay with underglaze painted on to reflect top surgery scars. These are one of the most sacred things I make and are meant to celebrate and empower. These hold about 10-12 ounces. All proceeds go to Gender bands to help pay for body affirming surgeries. Each item is microwave, dishwasher, and of course food safe! I do my best to use recycled materials in shipping to cut down on waste for the benefit of the planet!
Elevated Fruit Bowl
Thrown with a brown stoneware clay with the interior glazed with a satin white. A simple and warm addition to your kitchen. Not too big, so she's perfect for an apartment or smaller space. About 8 inches across and 6 inches tall. Food and dishwasher safe.
"Orange drip" Decorative stoneware handle
Hand painted glazed decorative stoneware handle. Please note that handles are decorative elements. They are not ideal for dressers with very very very heavy drawers. The are glazed on one side and left unglazed on the part that is against the wood. They are screwed directly into the wood with a screw of your choice (screw not included). To have a dialog can be quite powerful, you exchange opinions and often spark ideas. If you discuss the matter more than once often new ideas come along. The ceramics have a visual conversation with the observer about their ideas of form, function and material. Handles are placed onto a cylinder shape in various width and height. Depending on the placement the function is determined. Stoneware and glaze. O Aprox 11.5 cm Height approx cm. All products are made by hand and can therefore slightly vary in size, colour and placement of handles. While in the kiln the weight of the handles pulls the form sometimes making the vessel slightly un regular shape. They are mostly glazed with a brush by hand and therefor sometimes have brush strokes or other suggestions that the object is made by a human. That is all part of their charm.
