Mushroom Incense Burner
Thrown with stoneware clay and carved with holes on top and in the gills for air flow and for light casting for use with candles (I recommend false candles because they get bonkers hot to the touch with real ones). Separate dish base. Neutral colored with a speckled white glaze with a dusting of brown glaze. Comes with a dish that's been painted green. And the bottom of the dishes work as match strikes, which is pretty cool! These are stupidly cute and really amazing with incense cones. Mushrooms are ~3.5 inches tall. Featured in print and online by It’s Nice That and House & Garden, the Pink Tower Lamp is a best seller. Every lamp is hand sculpted by Annie in her South London studio. She starts with building an armature from recycled card. This is followed by the meticulous process of layering paper pulp over the base, adding her unique style of textural relief. Each stage of making is completed in small batches; from the processing of paper pulp, to painting and finishing bases and lamp shades. Annie’s designs are inspired by her training in ceramics and sculpture at Chelsea College of Art & Design, applying techniques learnt from slab building and woodwork. No two pieces are alike and as such, there will always be slight variations, making your lamp a one-off.

Big Dialog cup in blue spaltter and lavender drip
The Big cup! To have a dialog can be quite powerful, you exchange opinions and often spark ideas. If you discuss the matter more than once often new ideas come along. The ceramics have a visual conversation with the observer about their ideas of form, function and material. Handles are placed onto a cylinder shape in various width and height. Depending on the placement the function is determined. Cast Stoneware and glaze. All products are made by hand and can therefore slightly vary in size, colour and placement of handles. While in the kiln the weight of the handles pulls the form sometimes making the vessel slightly un regular shape. They are mostly glazed with a brush by hand and therefor sometimes have brush strokes or other suggestions that the object is made by a human. That is all part of their charm.
