Light green flowery cactus with bubble tea friend
Handmade with lots and lots of love from stoneware clay (so it’s nice and strong) and fired twice with the highest quality underglaze paints and a high gloss clear glaze. This process from wet clay to finished product takes weeks and each piece is unique and there is no other out there like it! Due to being 100% handcrafted, they are imperfectly perfect with some wobbles here and some non-symmetricalness there (I’m pretty sure I just made that word up!), but that’s what makes each piece so special! I create each of these pieces in my home studio where I am inspired by my beautiful cats and nature. These pieces are carefully handcrafted with high quality materials and can be enjoyed for many years to come! Pink Tower Lamp
Featured in print and online by It’s Nice That and House & Garden, the Pink Tower Lamp is a best seller. Every lamp is hand sculpted by Annie in her South London studio. She starts with building an armature from recycled card. This is followed by the meticulous process of layering paper pulp over the base, adding her unique style of textural relief. Each stage of making is completed in small batches; from the processing of paper pulp, to painting and finishing bases and lamp shades. Annie’s designs are inspired by her training in ceramics and sculpture at Chelsea College of Art & Design, applying techniques learnt from slab building and woodwork. No two pieces are alike and as such, there will always be slight variations, making your lamp a one-off.
